Dave Jones came up with the idea for the Koa Hawaiian fish hook. Thanks Dave. The turtle is also Koa. I love that wood. There’s just something about it.
T bands are Red Cedar and Basswood. Nose and Tail blocks are Balsa and Red Cedar. I need to make one of these for myself, because this one was done at 2:30 am and delivered at 7:00 am., so I had to say a quick goodbye. I’d love to surf one of those things someday. More pictures following. Doug
