1960s Hobie Longboard

found this under my deck a few weeks ago. cleaned up pretty well. just wondering if anyone has any info on it. the only thing i know is that its probably from mid 60s? and its really really heavy. and its 9’5.

any info would be appreciated.

Your board was made in 1965, on a Tuesday- glossed about 3pm. Well, the 1965 part is probably about right. Photo of the fin please.

those things are highly toxic. It would be best to send it to me for proper diaposal.

Agreed. I’m going to go to NY/NJ and just cruise around looking under people’s houses. That board is hot.

This board is in Honolulu. It has been under the house for over 80 years…no termites. It is in rare condition for a piece of Hawaiian surf history. It will be in the Rarick Fall Honolulu surf auction if not sold earlier. Price is firm. No airpocket, two wings on nose top, hand shaped single plank.
