1968 Gordon and Smith 9'-4"

continue to surf it.

if you wanted to sell it one day , how hard would it be to fill in the ‘hole in the fin’  ?

'll assume you have surfed it, you just gotta ask yourself one question, do you love the way it rode.

If you did, make a duplicate (or have it done) listen up, I own, love and surfed to death a Hobie Phil Edwards #718.

Finally stopped surfing it and made a replica rocker jigs and all and made a new one (hard to get those stringers now).

Fix the fin hole (with skill could be close but never seamless) and along with some true up on the fin and some elbow grease, i.e. light wet sand no lower than 400 (start with 600) and a polish job.

Your board is not in need of a major redo (like mine)! Bag the template and vitals and rep that puppy and hang Momma up for the kids.

Aloha

Looks like that Hobie was Brawnerized!

Before, during and Sammy I hope you agree NO P.E. ever came in any color but clear. Worth the effort.

Aloha.
