20mm thick stringer?

 

Yeah, love it!

Well… I never said it was the best way.  Or the easiest way.  Or the lightest way.  20mm stringer?  OK - however ya want to do it.




I made a couple hollow wood boards out of plywood, but not chambered. It was a thin plywood I used for the top and bottom, then I painted them.

I second that!

It’s perfect for thick fins.

However if you have no thickness planer, making standard thickness fins might be tricky.

 

But there is much other nice stuff that you can build with it! e.g.

 

Foil some of those “Ratio” thick Bill T fins out of it.  

The 3 piece Sanderly Ply they sell at Home Depot works well for me.  Depending on the thickness; $12—20 per 8’ sheet.  Stringers into a blank just like the 3 piece Ply the blank Manufacturers use.
