I’m pretty sure it can be done and I have a customer wanting a miniature surfboard 3’6" in length as a 21st key. Is it difficult though?
do it and let us know.
APS 3000 takes a couple of evenings to get it all straight. Watch the videos. If you’re a shaper/glasser already, the videos present a slightly different approach than you’re used to. After learning the program, though, the process makes good sense. You do it “their way” because it works. Remember you’re not dealing with a creation on which you can do a little here, a little there; follow their procedure as taught in the videos.
my kids first boards. i made them one each as they turned 1 year old. Zahns is a 4’2". Teena’s is 3’2" and Calen’s is 3’8". all were cut on my aps3000 machine.
Thanks Dave. Anything special that needed to be done to get the board on the machine or did you just stick it on as per usual?
just stick it on per usual… except when i cut the bottom i didnt use the rearmost vacuum holddown
Wicked. Thanks again Dave.
