3m red sandpaper

Have you guys seen this sandpaper?. I ran across it on Amazon and bought a sleeve of 500. Works a lot better than wet or dry and cost half as much plus it doesn’t load up as easy. I use 500 grit with a super soft pad and get great polishes.

Cleanlines, does the sleeve say what the abrasive medium is? Is it Garnet?

How does the paper hold up?

Just looked it up, Aluminum Oxide for primers and topcoats.

All I know is that it works unreal. If you got to amazon and search “3m red sandpaper” you see all of the grits and configurations. A local auto body guy told me they are using to final sand paint jobs before buffing. They used to wetsand.
