SEAWATER TEMPERATURES: Relentless northwesterly winds have produced a great amount of upwelling along the Diablo Canyon coastline. This condition has produced cold seawater temperatures. Intake seawater temperatures will range between 49 to 52 degrees through Wednesday.

Diablo Canyon coast is that stretch between Morro Bay and Avila Beach. It is exposed to currents and upwelling but JEESH!!!

There’s hope! I just got out of my first spring suit session down here in America’s Finest…about a month late. Its been in the low 60’s until just last week. Maybe by September you will be basking in tepid 60 degree bathwater.
