i will post more later as i have to goto school (two hours late)

hope you like

nice, how many boards have you shaped?

20 total and i’m going to be shaping two more for a shop in the area…

if i can get enough time out of school, i will probably shape about four more boards to sell to other shops…

i understand shaping and not having twist in the shape and all that stuff…

i’m sure that

there are a few things i need to learn but

as of now, so far so very very good

Cool little board, bigrick. I dig the artwork. Mike

Nice baord,

Very pyshadelic, I’m sure Jimmi would approve. What medium did you use for the art work? id you do it free hand or use a template?

well, i looked online for a few pictures and found this

so i printed it out on a sheet of paper (8.5" by 11"), sanded the board after spending the time to gloss coat it (that sucked), drew my outline with a pencil, and filled in everything with paint pens… the same that biolos and brophy introduced to the industry

finished product (you can click on the pictures to see bigger ones)

many thanks for all the positive feed back and i can’t wait to give it to its rider later on today…

we have a nice lil NE ground swell filling in and this weekend playa linda is supposed to be 6.5ft @ 9sec w/ 5mph WNW winds

mmmmmm… delicious waves

i can’t tell if it is the lighting but did you do a resin swirl, cuz that would be so awesome with a hendrix drawing

yeah, actually i did… i floated some purple resin along with some other colors inside an orange base but those colors didn’t come out… only the purple did…

did a few on the bottom too but they also didn’t come out that well

i’ll be shaping a few more coming soon

here is a pic of the swirl under his face (click picture for full size)
