I ifgure this is the place to begin looking --first off I’m not a collector so those looking for colector prices need not reply–anyway I’m looking for an old 60s Hynson redfin , Harbour Trestle special, or Rick B.K model or any other 60s longboard with a similer shape —condition doesn’t really matter cause I can fix it (and I figure it probably won’t be mint or else why sell) NOW my reason is to restore and ride —we have a once a year Retro contest here and seeing as I got lucky and won last year (on a borrowed 9’6" Dave Sweet) I want to get my own board just for that event–oh yea it can’t be a remake -has to be an original (Harbour tried to sell me a new one when I e-mailed them) so if any of you guys need to clear out a room or garage or know someone who does I’ll be glad to pay the going rate + shipping and you’ll know it ain’t to make a buck -its for the ride of a classic and I promise to take care of her!!!

A lot of years have passed since the St.Augustine A street contest. Also Bill Murray passed on and I still thank him for the contest, but the sweet victory of winning the classic tanker division, against champions like Clay, Torey and George, will always stand out as one of the greatest contests that I had the chance of surf in. It was one of those “on days”, had it been south Mission jetty with David and Nat, I would have given them a run for their money that day.
