so i started a 6ft4 cedar HWS made from left over cedar fasica from work. I ripped it down to 6mm planks and made the skins.
the board is set up for small mushy waves. nose lift 3 1/4 tail 1 1/2. so far i got skins glued up and bottom skin glued to frame. just glassed the inside of the top skin
theres a pic on the template of the backbone showing the board thickness and foil.
hey guys i decided to leave it as a " bar of soap" and go with square tail instead of bat tail. i did the lam on deck tonight. will do bottom tomorrow.

yeah guys she flys!!! and paddles better than my last 8ft board. I am real happy with it and planning to shape a foam board just like it but only a little shorter.
the down side is that she is a hard board to duck dive.
Nice timber, what did the final wight come in at, has it got one of the Greenlight vents, I still have not installed mine yet but they look really good aye…
