Humble greetings to the minds at swaylocks… I just completed shaping my first board: 7’0", 12 1/4 x 19 1/2( 3" up from center) x 12, 2 3/4. rounded pin. I am am thinkin of placing a Bahne Box for center fin and futures for sides. Does anyone have any suggestions on fin placement / measurement for said placements? I was thinkin 4 1/2 up from tail for center but as for the futures…??? Thanks for your input and for all the awesome info that you take time to share. - Paul Zo.

I have a 7’0" egg with the rear box placed 5" from the tail and the side bites 14". I’ve been using a 7" Takayama center fin and put in some Merrick FCS fins that I had laying around. When I first put them in, it looked like way too much fin but they work fine. You probably could use smaller side bites as my tail is a bit wider at 14".
