Thanks for the link, very interesting history. I was on Maui from 73 to 79 lived upcountry, Olinda and Kula spent alot of time hanging out at Ho'okipa, Mud flats and Honolua in a 21 window VW bus. I remember Gerry coming over to Maui moving to Olinda and surfing Hpoko and the Lane as well as Pakakalo when the wind was Kona.
