Whenever I go to attach a photo, something comes up that asks me to name the photo and stuff, but I don't know howto just get the picture up large enough to see.

thanks

No, that's not it.  But I got it figured out.  Cool looking board!

Hey thanks,

This is kind of off the topic, but if you don't mind me asking, what is the easiest way to get those up like you did. As you can see, when I tried it they came out small.

thanks

Het Stevens,

First off, your pictures need to have a high resolution, the bigger the MB-s, the bigger the pictures

AND< when you post, skip the thumbnail option, go for the Preview option [2/2 choice]

you have any good pics to try it?

I had a 7'6 minimal ( i can hear the booing now! ), which was a thruster, but i snapped the side fins off. I learnt to surf on it, and was a lot of fun, until i got a little bit better, and started wanting to lay it over. Then it would just slip out and i would go face first into the wave. I still remember the last time i surfed it, nice clean waves, good shape, and i hit the bottom, and went to lean over, and then i was underwater haha. Made myself a keel fish and was hooked!

I’m picking up a 3-box 7’6" next week (16-3/4" X 22-1/2" X 15-1/2" X 2-3/4") which why I was motivated to bring this old thread back to life.
Plan to try it with a large single, as a twin with and without a small trailer and as a 2+1.

It’s been 20 years since I last rode sub-9’ boards with any regularity.  Watching the clip linked below (yeah, I know his board was a foot shorter, but I’m larger [though less talented] than Tudor) got me excited about trying something similar:

I know I’m not interested in riding a contemporary “shortboard” (too old to grovel for waves amongst the youngsters), but I’m thinking that this full-template 7’6" or a shorter, Mini Simmons quad might be an alternative I could learn to love.

some of the best boards i ever owned were in the 7-6 single fin range/style.

most of my teen and young adulthood was riding boards of this type.

I will usually ride a mal though if its below three feet.

I like small side bites too as an option. sometimes they feel better or worse.
