Bumped into Ambrose out paddleing this morning and paddled with him and his friend for a while. When I got home did a little work and then lunch. Took a short nap and this is my nightmare. Out paddleing on a Wood board that I just finished half way across a lake I notice a small crack in the bow. Paddle in at some resort shops and pull the board up on the dock and stick my fingers through the hull in a couple places. Then I notice that all the joints are comeing apart and the epoxy is all slimey. As I poke at it the board just kind of comes apart in my hands. So I start to brake the board apart right there on the dock while Ambrose and his friend and about 50 onlookers watch and want to know what the heck I am doing. So thats when I wake up . Turn on the computer and there on the front page is a video clip of Flare surfing , which really looks like it could toast a board real fast !! So I switch to Sways and there is Surfdings post about imported wood and that leads to me looking up the new Lacy Act.!!! Dam , think I should just go back to bed ,forget about today and start fresh tomorrow !! Or maybe this is some kind of Karma thing , or God is trying to tell me something !!!!! And then there is the 104 cars at Pakalas day before yesterday !!!!!!!!
