A swaylocks magazine

I am fairly new to this website… but have been an addict since i was let on by another shaper friend of mine. Has swaylocks thought at all about putting out a newsletter/ magazine, type of paper that would show pictorial spreads of techniques, art work, swaylock members shaping rooms, tips and the smaller more not as known companies??? just a thought but curious to hear other thoughts. I love the site and it has helped me tremendously in my skills.

Funny, I was just saying the same thing to a mate the other day…along the lines of the ‘allaboutsurf.com’ kind of paper.

I guess plan B is just to print out our favourite threads and photos ourselves ?

(For our OWN reference, of course.)

There is already an articles section at Swaylocks at

If you go to the time and effort to thoroughly research something at Swaylocks (for example, if you want to make your own fiberglass fins), and dig out the most appropriate articles, you can summarize them, and submit an article for the Resources section.

With a magazine, you place a significant resposibility and burden on the person in charge, or the people writing articles. With an article for the Resources section, you can summarize the info already available, and make it more digestible.

And the paper planet rears its head and sees another flat surface not covered with deliterous waste paper un tended and ignored this is the kind of thing that drives the paper mills into action just the mere thought of a hand not shuffling more enscripted paper thet mis communiquates a thought withe the mire misplacement of a participle tho be held as authority for ions to come as shaping impressionable minds to manipulation beyond belief,OK TELL US WHY YOU WENT TO THE BEACH>>>>
