That’s a beautiful tool. I might save up a bit of cash and get one even though I don’t need another planer. I’m not a pro. Barely a novice. But, I do like nice tools and wonder how long they will be available if the company can’t sell enough to make the machining and all of it profitable. I’m wondering. What kind of planers do Aussies use in general. If such a generalization is possible? Mike

wow, thats not many planers…that kind of sux…Good luck to em, they look great.
The why I see it is, we work in a jail like cell of a shaping box so to have a nice toy, can make all the difference…

even with the exchange rate as it is, it is a bit dear for me at the moment, but I’ll be putting it on my xmas list for sure!

seems like there would be plenty more demand for them.
Purchased a JN2 shorty after talking to Ben at Accurate Waterman and Steve, Greg and Jed 3 weeks ago right before the coming out party they had for the planer. Got one of the first ones and I think the first sold on the East Coast. Have to wait 4 weeks for it to be made. Next year they will have vacuum attachments for it, it also uses SKIL blades and belts, looking forward to putting it through it's paces.
