she's also in the up coming movie,"signalhill speed run" due to be out this summer/fall.michelle was one of two females racers in 1977 along side of us guys..........there was only one catagory..........winner take all.
she should chime in here or she can be found on facebook under her name.

she may have left already,i was hoping to see her......... to say good bye.......... but i guess facebook will have to do.

as far as the movie coming out,,,,,,,,,i received rough cuts from the producer/director,,,,,,,,,, and if the movie comes out half as good,,,,,,,,,, it's sure to be a hit,,,,,,,,,,,,winning all kinds of awards.

Herb my point is, that unless that is a very old photo of your friend then it is highly unlikely this lass was racing alongside you in 1977 as she was more likely a twinkle in her fathers eye.

Herb, just have her post up here. UncleD, Foamdust, Onuela and myself will be around to surf with. I live in town and surf Courts and Diamond Hd a lot. I also go to Waikiki once in a while, mostly Queens. UncleD and Foamdust surf 3s. All of us except Oneula are married with children, and knocking on the Sr. citizen’s door.

I simply thought it interesting that the search result yielded a pic of a very attractive young woman. The fact she is that young makes it obvious she’s not the person in question.

Are you serious? She posted her picture on the internet, not sammy. Similar to what is seen cannot be unseen, what is posted cannot be unposted, so anyone that posts their photo on the internet better be damned content with the fact that it may pop back up in any time in the future or that the photo becomes part of the public domain for anyone to use for any purposes. Seems to me sammy was making an innocent joke and that perhaps thicker skins should prevail.

Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, when you upload a pic onto the internet, it can be used by anyone, you no longer have complete control of the image. Innocent or not. If you don’t know that, you’re a fool, and please post your credit card details too haha.
I am in the camp that posting should be along the more respectful lines and as such, family members of posters are off limits unless invoked by the poster themselves in the discussion. That said, I am also a realist and understand that any expectation of privacy on the internet is a false expectation. If it should remain private, it has no business on the internet.
That you highlighted ‘her’ also infers that someone somehow owns their facebook page. Nothing could be further than the truth. The shareholders own that and merely grant free access to the 1’s and 0’s that comprise a customized page. I can run the name and get that photo from a google image search, would you suggest that google is wrong in offering that photo up in it’s logarithmic results?

I have enjoyed the posts so far. I totally agree with everything said and everything thats going to be said. Swaylocks needs good stimulating conversation and this thread has given many of us a new lease on our otherwise boring lives. I for one am rejuvinated and in a state of intense ecstasy.
