yeah resinhead i did take that into acount, but i just acn’t afford it, especially in tint, as i wanted. Advise on ricepaper etc. is very appreciated though! thanks!
yip you can just go down to the shop that sells house paint and take a few jars and get them to squirt a bit of tint into your jars. a small business will probably give it you you. house paint tints are fine to use. easier colours to use are yelllows and oranges . reds can looky pinkish but ok to use in a swirl. solid green is hard but easy to use in a swirl. black takes a bit longer to kick. some of the colours will kick at different rates . like black can be slower
hey dodge = i bought a 5-colour set (black, white, red, yellow, blue - £15 / 100ml each
a 500ml tin of translucent red - £8
a 100ml tin of metallic blue £4
and a 100ml of tangerine for £4 for the hell of it (all ebay uk, search polyester pigments)
seabase sells the pigments also but 500ml tins for £20 a bit pricey per colour for having a go. they also sell decal tissue that can be inkjet printed and laser printed also with a bit of trickery
these were listed as polyester pigments suitable for the resin i am using - i'll try some tests in a bit of resin research epoxy next week

Step three...
I went out into my workshop and looked at all my little bottles of pigment....All 2 oz...that's about 60 ml.
Yeah........500 ml of pigment would be too much for one board....(17ounces)
