Last week I posted a question about airbrushing. Thanks to all that replied. However, I was too cheap to go buy one without trying it first and I got impatient waiting to borrow one. Anyway, I went back to my old fashioned ways of painting with a brush. Normally when I paint on canvas or foam I use quality paints, but for this I decided to go with the cheaper and thinner “poster” acrylics that I planned to use with the airbrush. Big mistake. I’m having trouble getting consistent coverage with a brush. I’m concerned that I am going to end up with a thick paint layer (reletively speaking). Anyone ever have acrylics wrinkle when epoxy resin is applied? I have had this happen before with sun cure polyester resin on thick acrylic layers.
