Acrylic foam softboards

Hi…

I already KNOW I’m a kook.

I saw in a reps van, a 5’3" acrylic foam fish twin fin that is supposed to float pretty well.

I have space constraints in my g/f’s car, and roof racks are NOT an option.

What do you think? I’m pretty sure I can surf any board, but this one is for the trunk/backseat space, with stuff thrown atop.

I’ve been riding my WaveRebel boogie board, but you know, it’s just not the same as standup surfing.

I doubt that it would be enough board to support your weight, but why do you care what anyone thinks? Take it out to 3xOH OB and see what happens.

hey LeeDD. there’s a guy I see out at south Tamarack I think he rides for BZ. he said he was a pro bodyboarder at one time… one day he was out surfing(upright) the barreling left that comes off the north side jetty on a 5’-2" old proto type BZ twin fish . he was getting the best little barrels I have ever seen at Tamarack. The other day he was on a blue board that looked to be about 5’-8" he was shredding. I have thought about getting one or try making one /yea right/ after see this guy surf one. he said he had no fear of the board or the fins doing any bodily damage.

Thanks guys.

I’ll look up the rep and get one of his demo samples.

I’m pretty sure it’sa 5’3"er, only a couple inches shorter than lots of my twin fins in the old daze. Last year, easily rode a 5’6" fish in Cojo, so it should be close, especially if the tail is high volume and thick.

I hate thin tails anyways.
