I am finishing my first clark/RR epoxy board, and I used up the last of my UPOL covering my pinlines. I just want to shoot a bit of sealer coat over the whole deck, and I’ve used acrylic lacquer on poly boards before. It isn’t a glosscoat, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is adequate. I didn’t figure the UPOL would be any problem since it is epoxy going on epoxy, but I don’t know about the acrylic lacquer.
I use the stuff for a finish coat on both my epoxy and poly fins it works fine on both.
You could use just a little more epoxy with a double shot of Additive “F”. Greg says that works well too. The laquer does give a real nice glossy affect along with killing the cloth lines that may be showing through.
