Aiming to eliminate the gloss coat entirely but want to get some degree of gloss shine when sanding the hotcoat. I know it will never look like a sand/polish gloss but if I can get something halfway there, it might work. What do ya think?
Try a 50/50 mix of the two resins. Frankly, in the balsa era, we only used ONE resin. Finishing resin. It was used for
lam, hot coat, and gloss. No polish out, in those days. What you brushed, is what you got.
