Adding some volumne to a pre glassed board.

This might not be a new idea and it might sound dumb but has anyone ever tried adding some foam to a board thats a bit thin?

Like say adding a few mm of eps or even glassed pe to a deck of a board you grew out of?

Say with four or five fcs plugs attaching it to the board, or maybe stuck on with glue…but the plugs might be a better idea for detachment.

On a similar thought do you think EVA tail pads and deckgrip add bouyancy to a board?

edit- sorry that should be post glassed board lol

This is an easy fix....I'm glad you brought it up.

Instead of adding foam to the board, what you want to do is add floatation to your body....It's easy.

This is what I did last year when I found out I didn't know how to use a planer and got a bit too aggressive with the ol sanding block.

Worked great, except duck diving was a bitch.

Give it to a grommet and shape yourself a new one
