Hey guys. I did a few searches and only found info on epoxy shelf life…not the additive F. Whats the deal? I’m about to order a new bath of RR epoxy for my next board. I have plenty of left over additive F. Its about 1 year old kept in a garage in the NE. Looks fine.
Thanks.
i’m sure it’s fine.
give it a hot water bath if any solids fell out of solution during the frigid months.
If it makes you feel any better, I’ve got a 4 year old can in my garage that I’m still using.

nice…mine is just shy of 3
I have some RR epoxy that at least 3 years old. Does anyone know what it’s shelf life is?
I just found a forgotten supply of RR epoxy (the hardener already has the AddF mixed into it) in my inlaw’s garage. It was stored there before I was married (over 3 years ago), and I have been using it the past few weeks for repairs on personal boards (in order to conserve the fresher supply for for-hire repairs and future new-board builds) with no problems whatsoever. There is a crusty material on the spout of the container holding the hardener (Part B), and the hardener itself has gone a little yellow, but when mixed with the epoxy (Part A) it mixes perfectly clear and “behaves” well in wet-out and through the hardening process.
