cut laps are invisible if you do it properly. cut with blade on its side and not to late so the blade bruises the glass. sanding a lam can cause it to overheat. epoxy is very difficult to sand if you push hard or go too fast the resin heats up and goes plastic. the surfboard epoxys are the worse for this as they have low temperature threshold. this would posibly cause a delam
do it the oldschool way as huie tells you and your boards will be clean
Just because you used those buckets before and didn't have a problem doesn't mean they're not the cause this time.
DNA is bad???
I use the hell out of it… Every time I do anything, I wipe it all down and then start…
My space is very contaminated, though - so I HAVE to use somthing to wipe everything down and blowing just puts more saw dust, foam, resin dust etc in the air. I have not yet had a bad epoxy job…
I use MAS epoxy with the medium and/or slow hardner and I tend to let the garage “settle” before epoxing a board – basically after the last sanding let it sit for a couple days…
But - then again - I usually wipe things down and then putz around a bit before getting to business… Maybe slacking off is the key to using DNA?

Everything I do with Resin Research Epoxy resin came from Swaylocks.com. Guys like Jim P, Mike D, Greg L and John M went through tons of problems before I started using epoxy......
You're breaking the rules....you're having problems......I did not make the rules......
For all the people too lazy to click the link....
Wash your hands.
No denatured alcohol.
All steps must be done in less than 24 hours.
Air temp must be above 65 degrees F.
Add F , read the can or 3/4 cap full for 15 oz.
Stir for 4 min. I do not use a microwave. Mix longer if it is cold. Slow and steady.
No sanding between steps. Knock down the corners...go easy....
Second hot coat solves most problem areas.
Mixing cups are PPG cups from the Auto Body Supply store. One time use. Paint brushes , One time use.
I mix by volume, 2:1 resin / hardener (Resin Research)...If you mix with a scale you are not using 2:1 ratio....look it up , get it right....
I did not make the rules.....
