What did you do now?..Fess up.
I asked the same question just recently. I’d say Bill Barnfield is a tad busy right now with the the North Shore winter in full swing(?) so you’ll probably get an answer from him when it’s a bit quieter over there.
Ok, here’s my guess at the rocker adjusting technique, kicking off where Bill Barnfield finished. Tape your bottom half (the board that is) to a pole of some kind leaning on a very slight angle. Place the top half of the board on the bottom half. Watch which way the top half leans. Preferably catch the top half before it hits the floor. Tape the bottom of the bottom half of the board to the bottom of the top half of the board on the side of the board opposite to the way the top half leaned. Check your rocker. If it’s off, undo the tape from half of the board and let the top half lean a touch. Stick the tape back down again. I’ll let you figure the rest out.
a bit to far to do that both sides are already attached
rebrake the board
or
you could toss it and get a blank and make a board that would have your soul in it.

Aloha surfkid and others
Sorry for being out of touch on this issue. I will get to finishing up that repair board thread one day.
In the meantime, to adjust the rocker before glueing together, just use the tape system on the rails that I described and use tape on the deck or bottom to adjust the bend either way.
If you have already glued the board and it still needs adjustment use my special technique… I will post photos on the thread when I get back to it… Get out your circular saw and cut a kerf through the board right in the crack or break, on the side on the most appropriate side to adjust the rocker the way you need to bend it…
Cut the kerf only as thin and deep as you need to, to bend the board with minimal resistance so it won’t spring back easily or break again. Then re-tape the side you need to shorten and pull the tape as tight as you need to set the rocker correctly. Then fill the kerf with microballoons and continue on with the repair.
You can also tape on pieces of long thin wood or Masonite if you need to stabilize the board better or increase your ability to flow the rocker from one half into the other half.
Hope this helps for now.
