Too much and the resin will run off the rails too much leaving too thin of a hotcoat. I know some hotcoaters who add a little styrene (just a little, cause surfacing agent is styrene w/parrafin added, remember) to every hotcoat batch, but you really shouldn’t need to. That’s my 2cents.
