Hey guys,
I wonder if anyone can help me with types of air purification used in shaping bays. At the moment we only have a small AC and vaccuum but definitely need some sort of industrial small purifier that can be emptied or filters can be exchanged.
Help me out guys I know there are some shapers out there!

Your’re probably looking for a grander solution but I have like a $20 dollar box fan. Its about 4" thick and measures just about as wide as a standard furnace filter that I duct tape on. It moves a good amount of air through for a small room. To clean it, I take it outside while still running on an extension cord- that way all of the particles don’t fall off. Thats the poor man’s solution and seems to work alright but certainly not for production or gloss jobs.
I’m looking at a serious solution right now. You need to vent outside to get rid of fine dust or use a really good filter. This website really helps with the scarey stuff and with the practical design stuff, too http://billpentz.com/woodworking/cyclone/index.cfm
In short, a 3-5hp motor, 15" impeller, 1000cfm airflow through 6" ducting - a much bigger system than I thoughtwould be needed
Your air would be clean. I know guys that don’t wear a mask that have the proper air exchange. You can add a separator and filter because the cars will be covered in foam dust near the shop.
Great thanks guys!
Do the fantech machines get most of the particles of shaping dust stuck in the air out of the room? That’s the main problem.
