air temp vs. resin temp in glassing

im ready to glass a board here in northern ohio and the temp is about 40 degrees. will the resin kick right if i have sitting in warm water and already to go at around 75 degrees? my garage temp may be a bit wamrmer than the air temp but not by much. thanks for your help guys! jay oh if any of ya wanna see a session we had on lake erie today check it out on the picture page at www.americanhoagies.com

You could add more catalyst(like,lots,and watch out for prematrue jelling) or just use uv resin.Herb.

Most problems occur when resin and air temps are different like 40 degree air and 75 degree resin. as a good rule don’t glassyour board where a cold draft hits it as this will mess you up. Catalize the board slow so that you don’t get your ass kicked 10 cc would work wellI glassed professionally for 15 years so good luck
