how is that video? i have the other 2, was curious to see if it was worth > picking up It’s a good video. It shows basic airbrushing, and drawing using posca pens like Lost surfboards. You have to pick it up.
Is there anyone know what brand the airbrush pen on the video airbrushing > 101 John Carper? I mean the one that they are using on that video. The two most reliable airbrush pen manufacturers are badger and passche(not sure on the spelling). JC showed an internal mix pen they come in single and dual action. Single action you can’t control the amount of air with the trigger. Dual action controls the air with the amount depressed on the trigger. You can purchase airbrush equipment at Micheals crafts or harbor freight. I just airbrushed my first board and I would recommend using an automotive detail spray gun the smaller the better. Use an airbrush pen only if you are going to be doing super detailed work. Good luck and happy surfing surfdogz
Look into Iwata airbrushes, they are very dependable, easy to clean and use. I first bought a Pashe but their needles are not stainless steel and easy to tweak. They also take more time to clean up. Since I got an Iwata the Pashe sits unused. But remember these type of airbrushes are used for fine detail work only. I use my detail(1.mm nozzle)syphon rig and my (.7mm nozzle) gravity feed rig most of the time. It’s amazing the results you can get once you learn to fine tune your spray rigs.Aloha, Kokua
