I want to purchase an airbush to do simple color fades, etc on foam. What should I consider or look for in a startup unit. Any advise?
Grab one of the bigger ones (well medium, I guess they’re suppose to be for touchup on cars) …I got one real cheap from EZfoam (~$15) on willcall, might be a few bucks more over the net (I’m sure some others will point you toward harbour freight as well). Works great for fades, rails or an entire board. They claim you can do pinlines with it, but I use my little dual-action traditional airbrush for that and doing touchups – after I burn through my glosscoat [smile]
