I remember either Jim or Herb mentioning to use alcohol to thin the paint (instead of water) to help the drying process. I’m about to paint a board with Liquitex. I’m using a re-fillable, non-aerosol spray can, so I can mix however I want. My question is, should I mix alcohol AND water with the paint or should I just use straight alcohol? If using both alcohol and water, what should the ratios be…and if just using straight alcohol, what should the alcohol-to-paint ratio be? 50/50? 40/60? 20/80? Any advice is appreciated!..deeb…
