awesome shape, fun to build. good old Home Depot Spruce. Had devil of a time finding good boards but in the end found some. aiming for 23 pounds weight. it’s light so might make it.

No, probably still leaing towards fin box with wood fin, rising sun. I made one (for glass in) for tom. I like the idea of changing fins. btw the tail block, not shown is Australian Lace Wood. I had one board with really small flakes in it. looks sweet. Am working on keeping the nose w/o inserts. Tom is on his second 9’8" and one fish. we’re waiting for warmer weather to glass.
