Anniversary board -- 9'2" x 22" Noserider ...my #8

Heres a board that started out as something to keep me busy then sell off for some extra money…my girlfriend of two years fell in love with the board the second i templated it…and shes been waiting for one for a few months now.

I decided to give it to her about half way thorugh it process as our two year anniversary is later this week.

The dims are 9’2"x 18" nose x 22" x 15.5" tail x 3"…10" Velzy noserider fin, w/the tip of the fin even with the cutlap.

It was shaped form a 9’3Y from US Blanks, im very pleased with the foam and REALLY stoked on the yater plugs they are putting out…very cool blanks!

50/50 rails, cooperfish-esque. about 4 3/8" N, and 4" tail, rocker-wise, about a 1/2 flip in the last 18" of the tail.

There is a little concave in the nose, flat middle to rolled tail…this thing will perch all day long

My girlfriend is 5’1 and about 112 lbs, so this board is big for her, but shes used to a 9’6" right now, with an even wider nose, so it should work out alright!

This is my first polish job on a board, its a WHOLE lot of work, but about 100 times more satisfying to see the end result…it feels really good to see such a shiny object, knowing that you made it!

glass schedule is single 6oz bottom, double 6 oz deck w/6oz knee patch, double hotcoats top and bottom (the second hotcoat was polished instead of using finishing resin)…pinlines are posca pen.

i made this template for 10’ + boards, but i think it really looks nice on a smaller board too!

im having trouble getting photos up, they are resized and everything, but they say they are still too big…?

Love the template and dimensions… Great looking board!

That fin looks set pretty far back though! How’s it turn?

dont know how it goes yet, i just polished it an hour or two ago, shouldnt turn any worse than any other noserider though
