another "clean" ocean going craft

Besides Sways and the surf forecasting sites, there is one other site I visit regularly, www.sailinganarchy.com.

I had to share this sick puppy with the lot of you. While I normally abhor power boats, this one’s a 100% biodiesel driven attempt at the power circumnavigation record. Sometimes things that are meant to go fast look fast even sitting still, you know I mean?

If anyone knows other good surf or sailing sites please share.

They had that boat on TV in Australia.

It’s actually built in NZ and is designed to pierce through large ocean swells instead of riding over the top of them. They had a smaller version that they took on a test run and at times the whole boat was submerged under a swell but keep on powering.

Sort of like duck diving.
