A commemorative project is coming up this summer, a select number of shapers have been gathered to honor a pioneering legend in the industry. Nearly all of the boards have been shaped, one shaper isn’t health wise at this time able to do his version, but has handed this one to one of his very talented and trusted A list employees.
The tribute at this time will remain anonymous until the time comes by request of it’s sponsor, but one of the invited shapers brought in his “master Piece”, what a piece, just goes to show what smoke and mirrors can do, it is a truly emmbarassing representation of what we call shaping
…yes, and that is not the strongest side of Surfing; that is the “pro surfing side”, involving all the marketing stuff to sell not so good and functional (accesories) products

Image is more important to most surfers, than reality, sadly. Even in today’s world of cnc-supershapering whores, there are those that only masquerade as prom queens. Worse is how few can tell the difference.
