I am thinking of buying a used shortboard from some guy online. The board looks like its in great condition I am just still a little worried about the quality because I have never heard of roberts surfboards. I have bought boards in the past for good prices that ended up delaming to soon due to poor craftsmanship. Dont buy Roland Surfboards!!

Ditto what he said. Roberts makes good boards. I see them all the time in LA and Ventura. They are very popular around here.
Robert Wiener is a really good guy and used to be laminator for Casey Mccrystal. He’s been making boards at least 20 yrs. I have seen him in the water for 30 yrs. He still surfs unreal and always has a big smile.Makes high performance short boards mostly.Good guy!!! Mostly surfs here in Oxnard.
