Any thoughts on this old relic?

I know absolutely nothing about it. Decorative or the real deal?

Folk art perhaps?

Good description.    Emphasis on Folk.

Thank you Bill, I here you loud and clear. As ambrose said “collector gold or hoarder junk”. I guess that would be in the eye of the beholder.

Dave

It works with your wooded interior design color pallette.

No love for da Bump?

Atsokay, Hap got his.

Precursor to Meyerhoffer?

His first shape?

The most humane thing would be to put it out of it’s misery.  Tell Billy and Jane it’s on a farm up state and it’s happy.

Go down to USA and buy a gallon and some matches.

Print a cheap flyer and distribute @ local beach where to meet @ midnight for launching off highest cliff overlooking surf or lack thereof.

Old time surf sacrifice with a relic worthy of immortalizing… suggest time lapse photography on its way down.

Early Penguin, perhaps.      (It’s possible!)

Artz, I believe it already is on the farm. I found it on Craigslist. It’s not mine I was just curious.

Dave, do you have a link for the craigslist ad? I’d like to see what the seller has posted.

Thanks

I would buy it for sure. I dig one of a kind stuff probably a labor of love from some unknown backyard builder. I mean how many thousands of Greg Noll Da Cats were made?

The seller is asking 225 for that thing. As a novelty, he might be lucky to get 25.

Who knows? There might be a label on it somewhere and the seller doesn’t know where to look.

While the whole package presents as a crude backyard job, the pinlines and such look more like you’d find on an early 70s board.

If I were really curious about the thing I’d ask for more detailed pics with better resolution.
