Recently I have come across photos of very shortboards from the 1960s/ 1970s and have been told they were like Foley boards. Does anyone have photos of original Foley boards.
I gather Jim Foley was from Santa Cruz and was talented in a number of fields.

My recollection of Foley’s boards are that they were just typical period longboards cut off at the nose. This is via photos and films. I think he was shown in at least one Bruce Brown film, pre Endless Summer.
Didn’t Foley also design the original O’Neil “surfer-riding a wave” logo? I think he shaped for O’Neil early on.
