well the inmates have taken over the asylum – with the outlook of no west coast fish fry , it has been decided by several afficianados , myself included, to hold an event in the same spirit. sunday june third at cardiff reef.
we want to keep it low key and banner free, everyone is welcome, just leave your logoed easyups at home.
shape it, buy it ,borrow it ,bring it, show up and ride it. hopefully we will be blessed with some swell and be able to keep the sup’s at bay, maybe someone can twist bassy’s arm to run interference!
many of the usual suspects have confirmed their presence, we will be giving away a limited number of event shirts to the deserving and attitude free, so show up early if you want a shirt ( should have a couple hundred, thanks to sector nine)and test ride something different from your favorite underground shaper,or bring your homebuit to ride and compare.
there will be an after party at hill street cafe in oceanside ( same place as last year)with drink specials,food and sushi specials, as well as live music, ( possibly jake moss’s band – jake p.m. me if you see this, possibly joe wood of tsol fame doing his blues thang)
also chip from the pod room will be showing some film’s up stairs, and there may be some giveaways from those who would like to get involved here as well, already confirmed are
