anything surfing related to do in sin city?

jetting off to sin city in a week to get “inspired” by Richard Branson of Virgin with a bunch of other CFOs, Controllers, and fellow money mongers. Coming from the armpit of oahu (Haubush Beach Park ) I’m not a particular fan of gambling, glitter or masses of slobbering touristos in general.

Stupid question…

But anything surf related to do in sin city?

thanks

but it looks pretty lame

just found out today I’m on my way to Guam this weekend before I have to jet to Vegas

Lots of surf in Guam but I think it’ll be out of the question with the level of execs I’m with

everyone’s frumpy about this last minute notice to ship out to perspiration land

there’s just somethings you can’t do remotely I guess

life of a financial crisis seal team member…

God I hate flying with bum knees.

I’ll try and take some pics…

i heard there is a gun range in vages where you can fire full automatic machine guns… guns is about all i could come up with…

If you climb, there is great boldering, sport, and trad climbing in red rocks and Charlston. If not, head out there anyways, especially if it starts to get in the 100’s in sin city, it will be at least 30 degrees cooler in the mountains.

Also, if you are intrestred in native culture, Red Rock cannyon has the Higest concentration of petroglyphs in the world! or maybe just in the country, but still it’s super impressive.

Cheers.

I Live in Vegas, Grew up in Huntington Beach, and went to H.B.H.S. (kinda) I am an Architect for the Venetian. And getting ready to retire (at 46) I am looking for a board company to invest in or buy. I learned shaping by hanging out at Dyno Surfboards when I was 12 y.o. David Nuiwhia was a good friend of my family. If there are any other shapers/glassers here I go to H.B. or S.D. every week. lets get together. I just got back from Oahu yesterday. I have a shack on The North shore right in front of Gums I am Building a new Shaping Shack and rebuilding the Shack

Joe
