Thanks Barry. I would be happy to have Bob shape another Board My good friend Warren Brown would have to do the glass work.I owe warren in more ways then I can count. The problem is the cost of shipping from There to Florida. Of course I could alway find an excuse to make it back there.
By the way I did airbrush for many years there in North County. Pure Fun and a small glass Shop run by Marty Ratcliff. We were doing alot of boards for a bounch of shapers that later went on to working for some big name manufatures. I also worked at nectar fora few years and a lot of free lance work. Nectar was getting too strange so I bailed My timing was good.
Artz, funny how we know so many of the same people. I too know Warren Brown. He has the old Lightning Bolt shop out in San Marcos. I have airbrushed many boards for him. Have not seen him in a while. The first day I got hired at Dick Brewer, Hank was the laminator there. Super good craftman. Talented. What was funny is that when I was a kid, I went into his shop in Leucadia. He told me to beat it if I didn’t buy something. When I started working with him, I told him that story. He said " I did alot of that" owning a surfshop. I see Hank all the time. Classic. I’ve painted a bunch for Gary McNabb too.(Nectar).
I would love to see some of your artwork.

The reason shapers shape symetrical boards is to show they CAN, and if they can, they can custom tune the board for any rider who knows what he wants.
If a shaper CAN'T shape a symetrical board, what does that say for his shaping skills?
Some guys spend countless hours making the board "perfect" in symetry. Other's whack it out in 37 minutes, knowing it will work just fine.
