asetone with epoxy question

Im looking to do a gloss on a 6’0". It has a RR epoxy lamination and hot coat sanded to 150 and ready for gloss.  Now I know asetone and epoxy don’t go together but is it okay to clean the board with asetone after its been dried and sanded? I want to get the fine particles of dust out as a last clean before the gloss hits it but Im worried the asetone will somehow take away some of the epoxy glass even after it has cured for a day.

Don’t do it. Blow it off with an air hose, get a tack cloth, some distilled water and clean it off that way.

Use Denatured Alcohol (DNA)

It is OK to wipe the board lightly with acetone but not recommended. It won’t screw up the resin in it’s cured state.

Always wear gloves and a respirator when working with solvents…

I use glass cleaner (like Windex) as a de-greaser (hand oil etc. remover).  Spray, wipe down, wipe off.  Then I use a damp paper towel or lint free, fine-weave soft cloth (wetted with water, distilled is better) to wipe the glass cleaner residue off the resin surface.  Seems to work fine for me.
