Aolha to all of my Swaylocks brothers, Down through the years many of you have posted diagrams of boards you have desinged with CAD programs or other software. Well i am presently involved with a project that requires these type of diagrams,it is not a board building project but a one that I need those types of diagrams to use for reference for doing some small scale carving. Am basically looking for out lines of any and all types of boards from longboards to fishes to olo boards. I Have gone through the archives but have only found one and need to find more,. This is basically a project to keep my mind off the ill effects that are starting to arise form the accumulation of radiation from my treatments. any and all help is much appreciated . Aloha Kokua

Then, hit the “exemples” button. You will get pre-designed shapes (by Jeffrey Swartwood) under different columns: “fish”, “shortboard”, “egg”, longboard"… At the bottom of each, there’s a button on the right that reads: “Créer une image .gif” (create a .gif picture) that will allow you to save any design in your hardware. of course, you may modify any design using the dots along the curves. have fun and say thanks to PierreB who designed this “Surfdesigner” thing…

I guess you will maybe know more about Alaias than me by virtue of your location, but I will gladly send you my 6’6" Alaia outline. It is inspired by a TW board and features parabolic rails etc.

Aloha Guys, That is exactly the kind of stuff I am looking for is and the more the better. The format I am using is JPEG which is probably the most common. Am considering down oading one of those Free CAD programs and try some myself but not sure what programs are out there other Shape 3d. You guys are great and this project is helping me keep my mind off the ill effects that are finally starting to happen as the radiation is accumulating in my body. I know that AKU lets you render a pdf image of designs…I’ll see what i can come up with in the way of jpeg’s

I’m a fan of owls and the creature from the black lagoon and plan on carving something similar to these one day (mini and larger).

Howzit slashzilla, like those outlines,that is basically all i need but one thing I am finding is that some of the cad free software won't work with vista so i will wait til I am back home (2 weeks) and use my desktop that has XP on but am enjoying playing with some of the software. all you guys are great and I really appreciate he help.
