When I try to move the bottom blue square up, the image board moves away from the profile outline. Is my image board photo too small? Or, as I suspect, I don’t know how to do this. thx
Are you trying to lay down the bottom rocker? If so, maybe the thing is indexed to the top’s contour.
I’ve always had to ballpark where the nose and tail points WOULD be if the rocker was what I’m aiming for.
Oh. I think you’re messing the program up as far as where the nose and tail points are, when you manipulate the bottom rocker apex.
When you refer to the image board, do you mean the sample board that is there when you select a size? If so, you can go to show/hide on the bar above and hide the origional boar so that when you come up with your shape you dont see the generic board. From what I read it almost sounds like you are making your board narrower that the generic board in which case it may appear that the blue dot is on the inside of the outline.
Hope this helps.
Thanks all. It only happens sometimes. I can do the nose and tail points properly, but when I come back to the bottom apex (rocker=0) and move the blue box up or down to match the photo (not the generic board, but a photo I took), the photo moves away from the blue box. Each bump of the blue box bumps the the image.
