Just found this site: http://www.astsurf.com/, where they are presenting a hi-tech epoxy resin.
Enter the site, then PRODUCTION, then HOW TO VIDEOS, and you can see some interesting steps on mixing, glassing, hot coating and sanding.
They recommend to warm the resin in a microwave oven. I guess that’s not necesary in standard epoxy resins.
I’ve only glanced at a few but they definantly appear to be worth viewing. Thanks for the link!

i posted a thread awhile back asking about AST resin…seems like a lot more hassle than it’s worth, and i’m pretty pleased with RR epoxy.
what soulstice said plus their logo looks to Biohazardish and way to Hazmatty for me and the looks of that stuff it just might be. good luck with what they are doing…
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah no it’s not epoxy! it’s a polyurathne resin that is from a family that was designt to be injected into molds thats why you have to heat it glass then"bake". i have researched the stuff before wquite interesting and i really wanna do a board with it, stuff is light enough i could make a indestuctable board(2 6oz and a 4ozdeck and a 2 4oz bottom mmmmm strong and durable)
