oneula that bamboo on ebay is thin - 1/64th. I have only done bamboo decks with the 1/40. Seemed that everyones experience was that bamboo top and bottom was overkill. Maybe the thinner bamboo would be good for doing bottoms? Or wrapping the whole board rail and all? thanks for posting that.
Howzit sharkcountry, We have milling machines over here already. We use a guy for milling koa, milo,phaesant, and other wood ithink in Lihue . Laird is half owner in one that uses a chain saw blade to cut, trying to remember his partners name but the machine is at the partners house on the North Shore.
