Bamboo surfboards

bottoms are easy duck soup as they say here…

Decks are someting else but careful relief cut and using veneer softener as well as having two sets of hands can make one hell on a difference.

We’ve done 1/16" deck wraps with virtually no breakage over the rails nose and tail lapping the bottom by taking our time and planning everything out careful.

Veneer softener will melt the toughest hardwoods over the rails no problem unless it’s 1/16 maple… Now that was alot of fun bending that over thenose and tail. Damn thing is like a spring board…

YOu could wrap the bamboo too just trim it after very carefully with a dremel diamond wheel cutter and 4" metal grinder or baby airpowered lap grinder
