T-Tom,
Thought I responded to this. Looks like my usual spot with the usual long interval close outs. Beautiful, fickle wave. Toobs for sure! Thanks for not naming names. Mike
My Neck was on Fire from my beatings the day before So I went into Photo mode.
These are all cropped and were taken at great distance, and I wish they were not so soft. A better lens is in my future
I’ll Never ever surf here again due to the crowd, and the complete lack of etiquette, but I think On Friday, it was as good as I’ve ever seen it.
Funny they were calling hard rain and onshore winds and brown polluted water.
Anything but:
And here is Why I will not surf here. This guy not only forces the rider to straightenout, but then ditches the board in a malolevent manner, or perhaps just full blown kookery.
Kaboom!
I’d rather surf a closeout than subject myself to this crowd.
that sucks WRC! too bad, 'cause that’s a good looking wave!
what general area are you located in?
the spot in the pics looks similar to a spot I surf.
Any more pics? Non-kookery perhaps?
North County San Diego.
I photoshopped out the crowd on the following Pic
I’m surprised the guy on the shoulder refrained from dropping in.
Morning session secluded north shore couple weeks ago. Three of us had this super fun head high glass to ourselves. I’m riding a 5’5 PUPE Quad
Here’s a DOH, wave from the day of the big swell last week. Some of the other waves were bigger but after 15 minutes of watching, this was the only wave I saw ridden.
I think I know about where that is chrisp. If so, we used to take our 6th graders there for a week of camping, hiking, etc. Saw my first mountain lion there. Beautiful place. Too many raccoons. Mike
I wish the shot was tighter! The guy was throwing a huge bottom turn on an Andreini hull.
I never take photos, it’s the last thing on my mind in that moment!
Hi Rooster you might be right about the location… this is about 10 minutes from the house.
