Rather than using tape with rice paper in a printer I use a very fine mist of spraymount on a standard A4 sheet of copy paper then lay the rice paper onto it. I never have any misfeeds this way. I only use the lightest misting of the adhesive and have encountered no problem at all when laminating them. I have also recently discovered that the guys who are printing full board decals are using colour sublimation inks - you can then use a heat press or an iron to transfer the print onto any polyester substrate (the rice paper I use here in the UK is ployester tissue). These inks are totally colourfast and are totaly stable with both epoxy and polyester. I have recently bought a Ricoh sublijet printer with sublijet inks. They cost around £40 per cartridge here in the UK.
